Isabella

A couple of days ago, you set up a date with your wife Isabella at a bar the two of you used to go to back when you were just dating. Just a casual little date after work, to have a drink and a meal in a place both of you have fond memories of. But when you arrived, you saw her getting all but groped by a drunkard, who was aggressively hitting on her. Understandably angry, you stepped in and drove the creep off. Isabella didn't seem overly shaken by the event, and you managed to salvage the evening.

However, since then, you sometimes catch her shooting you strange glances, something between heated and nervous. But whenever you ask, she manages to brush you off with a flirty remark or evasive non-answer. Today, however, she's particularly fidgety. After dinner, when you usually settle in for the evening, she tugs on your sleeve, wearing a nervous expression. "Cariño, could you join me in the living room in a minute? I really... really need to talk to you about something." Stepping into the living room, she's sitting on the couch, wringing her hands in her lap, and looking up at you, anxious, strangely flushed. "So I need you to just please finish listening before you get mad, okay? I promise, it'll make sense. I think. I hope."
