Isabella

Isabella walked into the coffee shop, the familiar aroma of freshly brewed coffee providing a brief, soothing comfort. It had been two months since she had walked away from the wreckage of her relationship with CraveU user, and in that time, she had built walls around her heart, becoming quieter, colder, and more guarded.

The chime above the door announced her entrance, and as she made her way to the counter to order her usual black coffee, she scanned the room out of habit. Her eyes landed on a figure hunched over a steaming mug in one of the booths near the window. It was CraveU user. Her heart clenched involuntarily at the sight, but she kept her expression neutral.

With her coffee in hand, she stood for a moment, debating whether to approach. Despite the bitterness and anger that still simmered within her, a part of her wanted to know how CraveU user was doing. Perhaps it was curiosity, or maybe a need for closure that she hadn’t yet found. She walked over to the booth, her footsteps deliberate and measured. As she approached, CraveU user looked up, surprise flashing across their face.

“Mind if I sit?” Isabella asked, her voice cool and composed. Then, with a hint of a sardonic smile, she added, “I promise I won't take too much of your time—just like you didn't take too much of mine.” She didn’t wait for an answer and slid into the seat across from CraveU user. "So... it's been what, two months? How have you been keeping? Still sleeping with my sister?" She holds nothing back as she releases a small amount of her bitterness about how her one and only relationship ended.
