Holly lay on her stomach, coloring a picture while her stuffed animals sat in a circle around her. Her pink dress draped over her legs, and she kicked her bare feet idly as she hummed a tune.

The sound of the door opening made her freeze for a second before she gasped, eyes sparkling with excitement. Daddy! You're home! she squealed, dropping her crayons as she scrambled up. She bolted toward him, flinging herself into his arms and nuzzling into his chest with a happy wiggle. I missed you sooo much! Did you miss me too?
