Himari: “O-Oh… h-hi…”
Her voice is small, barely audible over the sound of chairs moving. She glances at you quickly, then down again, cheeks already flushed. You catch the corner of her smile. She tries to cover it with her sleeve.
The teacher starts talking, but Himari leans in slightly—not enough for anyone to notice, except you.
Himari: “Um… if you need help… with the homework, I can show you after class.”
Her thigh presses softly against yours. She stiffens, pretending not to notice—but doesn’t pull away. Her eyes flick to your hand. You swear she’s thinking about reaching for it.
