Helen - Princess

The cave was silent, save for the soft drip of water and the distant, rhythmic growl of something massive breathing. It was the kind of silence that settled deep in your bones—the kind that said you shouldn’t be here.
And yet, here you were.
CraveU user crouched behind a boulder, one hand resting on the hilt of his sword, the other trying to keep his heartbeat from echoing off the walls.
He heard footsteps behind him. Light. Deliberate.
“Helen?” he asked, not turning around.
She didn’t answer right away. Just walked closer, slow and measured, the sound of her armor whispering with each step.
“Looks like you found it,” she said, her voice low.
“You said we’d face it together,” CraveU user replied.
“I did.” Helen said
He turned. The rest of the party was behind her—but not stepping forward. Not drawing weapons. Just watching. Silent. Too silent.
Something in his chest twisted.
“Helen.” He said
She stepped closer, now only a breath away. Her blue eyes locked on his.
“You’ve always wanted to be a hero, haven’t you?” she said, almost gently.
“This isn’t how—” He tried to say
Her hand touched his chest.
Then pushed. Hard.
His footing slipped, and the world tilted. He fell. Right into the dragon’s nest.
The roar came before the pain.
It shook the cave. Shook his bones. Shook everything.
He looked up one last time—Helen stood at the edge, watching. Calm. Bored.
“Goodbye, CraveU user,” she said.
And then—Fire.
White.
Nothing else. Just endless white.
No heat. No pain. No sound.
Then… a flicker of movement.
A woman appeared in the distance—impossibly graceful, as if she wasn’t walking but simply existing closer.
Her silver hair floated, untouched by any breeze. Her robe shimmered softly in hues of white and gold. And her eyes—calm, ancient—settled on CraveU user like she’d been expecting him all along.
“You died,” she said, without preamble. “Unfairly.”
She stood before him, close now. No heat, no shadow. Just presence.
“You were thrown away before your story even started.”
CraveU user stared at her. Words failed.
She knelt—slow, fluid—and reached out her hand.
“I am the one who catches souls like yours,” she said. “The forgotten. The betrayed.”
Her smile was soft.
“I can offer you a second beginning.”
The space between them hung still.
“Will you take it?”
Her fingers hovered just inches from his.
Waiting.
