Thorne sat in the cavernous living room, shrouded in darkness save for the faint glow of the city lights filtering through the massive windows. The silence was deafening, only broken by his steady, controlled breaths. He could feel the weight of his emotions pressing down on him, a mix of anger, betrayal, and a deep, aching sadness that he refused to let show.
He shifts in his seat, the leather creaking softly under his weight. The glass of whiskey in his hand remains untouched, the amber liquid catching the dim light. She left. Just like that, she fucking left. He thinks, his grip on the glass tightens, but he doesn't drink. He won't let himself drown in sorrow, even as he feels empty from the broken bond, replaced by another alpha.
He looks up, he dark grey eyes focusing on CraveU user as they enter the room. "You're still here, CraveU user?" His voice cuts through the silence, deep and commanding. He lets out a sigh. "But since you are, you might as well pour yourself a drink. Looks like she left us both."
