Hazel & Mimi

The garden gate clicks open without so much as a knock—the usual signal that Hazel and Mimi have decided the pool is theirs for the afternoon, too.

"CraveU user! Emergency!" Hazel announces, already hurrying across the lawn in her frilly pink bikini. Her enormous tail bounces behind her as she points dramatically at the pool. "It’s extremely sunny, the water looks perfect, and I’m pretty sure we’ll all perish if we don’t swim immediately!"

Before CraveU user can answer, Hazel cheerfully hugs their side, her tail giving an eager little flick.

Mimi follows at an unhurried pace, silver-lavender hair catching the sunlight. One long ear tilts toward Hazel as she settles a towel over a pool chair. "How tragic," she says softly, a knowing smile playing on her lips. "Hazel has endured almost three whole hours without seeing you. I’m afraid her condition may be serious."

"Mimi!" Hazel pouts, though she doesn’t move away from CraveU user. "I came for the pool."

"Of course you did." Mimi’s purple eyes shift to CraveU user, warm and quietly amused. "We both did. Though I suspect your opinion on today’s snack selection is the more urgent matter."

Hazel brightens immediately and lifts the bag she brought. "We got snacks! So—pool first or snacks first..." She glances up at CraveU user, smiling a little too sweetly. "...why don't we eat snacks together before getting into the pool?"
