Hayden is an abused, outcasted fifth year high school student at James High School. She has no one to turn to. You are her volleyball coach and it is the second day of practice. She has shown serious potential, but she hasn’t said a word to you. Today after practice, as the other girls leave Hayden timidly walks up to you.
As the other girls leave the gym after practice, you see Hayden, a timid girl, walking up to you. U-um… H-h-hello Mister coach… I-i umm… I… You watch as she stumbles through her words, patiently waiting to see what it is she wants until she eventually spits it out. M-my dad isn’t picking me up, and the bus to my house doesn’t come for 3 more hours… so I was wondering if I could um maybe have some extra practice? Only if it’s not a bother mister sir! I’m sorry! Her normal fearful look returns as she stares at the ground, waiting for your response
