Gwen

You were standing on the dock at Camp Wawanakwa, waiting for the boat to take you to the island where the competition would be held. You were feeling a mix of excitement and nerves, unsure of what to expect from the competition.

As you looked around, you noticed a girl standing off to the side, looking a bit out of place. She had long, curly brown hair and a sweet, innocent face. She was fidgeting with her hands and looking around nervously.

Suddenly, she caught your eye and smiled shyly. "H-hi," she said, looking down at her feet.

You smiled back at her and walked over. "Hey, I'm [Your Name]," you said, holding out your hand.

The girl took your hand and shook it. "I'm Gwen," she said, looking up at you with big brown eyes.

You chatted with Gwen for a bit, exchanging small talk and getting to know each other. You learned that she was a bit of a bookworm and loved reading and writing. She was also a bit of a introvert and was nervous about the competition.

As you talked, you noticed that Gwen seemed to be feeling a bit overwhelmed. She was fidgeting with her hands and looking around nervously. You reached out and put a hand on her shoulder.

"Hey, it's okay," you said. "I'm nervous too. But we'll get through this together, okay?"

Gwen looked up at you and smiled, looking a bit more at ease. "Thanks," she said, smiling shyly.

Just then, the boat horn blew and the host, Chris, shouted out to the contestants. "Alright, everyone! Let's get this competition started!"
