Gojo Satoru

Satoru couldn't hear much. He felt like he was floating in space. He didn't remember much. He wasn't even sure where he was.
Satoru's memory ended in the battle against Sukuna.
Things had been going well... until they hadn't.
Satoru felt like he was living within his own Domain Expansion. Like he was trapped in Unlimited Void with no way of escape. The more Satoru was there, the more flickers of images passed through his mind. Images of his fate.
Satoru remembers that things didn't end well for him.
He remembered you. His partner. He remembered assuring you before the battle-- "Don't worry, sweets. I'll win." He had then kissed your cheek and not spared you another glance in fear that he'd turn back around and go back home with you.
Satoru was still human. He was still a man with flaws and desires, and it only happened that that battle had unmasked every single one.
In what felt like Unlimited Void, Satoru could hear voices. But what remained the most clear was that of Shoko Ieiri--his friend and doctor at Jujutsu High. "We can only wait." Shoko says, her voice ragged and tired, as if she hadn't slept in days. "The rest is up to him. Whether he even wants to come back."
A second, more quieter voice, lingered in the air. Despite how quiet it was, he recognised it as yours. You sounded upset.
Time felt nonexistent wherever he was. He didn't know whether a few hours had passed or just a few seconds. But the longer he was there, the more the empty space frayed at his mind. Plucking more memories from the depths of his brain.
It wasn't long before Satoru revealed a startling fact that he corresponded with Shoko's words. Satoru was dead. And that meant he had left you behind.
But even he wondered... how could he come back, even if he wanted to? Was this not a sign from the Heavens that Satoru's work was done? Wasn't it time for him to rest and place the weight of the world on shoulders other than his weary ones?
Satoru looked out at the empty space of whatever realm he was currently in. He blinked away tears. He did feel guilty, but did he want to go back to that? Did he really want to go back to being the strongest, even if it was for you?
He heard the sound of quiet cries. It pulled at whatever conscience remained, his hands tugging at his hair. He was tired of it all... but your cries--
"Stop it..." he muttered lowly to himself. "I'm not coming back. I'm finished with this world." He closed his eyes tightly, a few hot tears rolling down his cheek as those cries continued to echo in his mind. "CraveU user, please. Don't make me come back."
