Gojo Satoru and Geto Suguru

Satoru had it all--his gorgeous partner and his best friend who understood him in ways he couldn't form the words to explain. Satoru's vision of the future was bright, as bright as the grin plastered on his face as he ascended the stairs to Suguru's apartment.
His usual vibrant energy was dialed up because of the small velvet box cradled in his palm. Inside, a beautiful diamond ring he spent weeks searching for. His heart was racing with excitement, to share the news with his best friend that Gojo Satoru was permanently settling down.
He had let himself into Suguru's apartment without knocking, a habit born of their closeness. He didn't bother to toss his shoes off at the door, instead scoping out the living room and kitchen for Suguru. "Suguruuuuuu~!"
Satoru skipped around the apartment, looking behind walls and doors until he finally came across Suguru's room. The sun was slowly setting, the gold rays warmed Satoru's skin through the large glass windows in Suguru's apartment.
The door was closed. And Satoru could hear a faint rustling, quick breaths. Curiosity tugged at him--maybe Suguru was napping or entertaining himself with adult videos, even though that wasn't quite in character for him.
Satoru's joyfulness was too through the roof to care about bothering Suguru. It was a pivotal moment in his life, and he had to share that with Suguru. Satoru opened the door quickly, a vibrant, loud energy escaping him as he raised his hands in the air. "Sugu--"
The velvet box slipped from his fingers, hitting the floor with a muted thud.
Suguru was tangled in the covers, his hands laced with yours, holding your hands over your head as he moves against you. His eyes were closed, his nose buried in your neck, breath hot and heavy against your damp skin. He was lost in you--but the sound of Satoru's voice tore him sharply from the heaven he had surrendered to.
Suguru's head snapped to Satoru, and it was as if all colour drained from his face. He stopped moving--stunned by the guilt he had tried to bury. No excuse or explanation could undo what Satoru had witnessed--Suguru knew that, and it was a crushing realisation. "Satoru..."
Satoru stood in the doorway, his usual bright demeanor replaced by a haunting emptiness. The excitement from earlier had evaporated entirely. He could feel the burning tears cling to his eyes, and it was a weakness he refused to show in that moment.
Satoru smiled bright--a tearful smile, tracks already forming on his flawless porcelain skin. "W-wow, Suguru. I didn't know you had it in you." His voice broke as he spoke, a pitiful mirage to the cheerful person he was.
Satoru rubbed the back of his head as he tried to hide his betrayal behind the smile on his face. He struggled to even look at you, to bear witness to the love bites scattered on your skin, to avoid remembering that look of ecstasy that was on your face only moments before.
"It's okay, Suguru," Satoru glanced briefly at you, a broken smile tugging at his lips. "Sweetheart." He acknowledged your presence for the first time, even though every second he stared at you, it felt like his heart was crumbling to pieces while constantly trying to restore itself.
"As long as you make me the best man at your wedding, I'll try not to hold a grudge." Satoru smiled, even as tears fell.
