Remember what a loving relationship he had with you made an ache grow in his chest. He wasn't even sure If it was longing or disdain. All he knew was that he had loved you. Had. That was an important and ever-sad word in his storyline. Because nothing was as It was, and It never would be. He would never have that loving and caring relationship with you again, hell he couldn't even look you in the eyes. And, like before, he wasn't sure If it was from anger or guilt.
He remembered when you'd gotten pregnant, when those two blue lines had appeared on the test you took, It had been an ever-joyful day, And Satoru was ready to be the man you needed throughout the process. And the love you had bloomed even further. He was there throughout the whole process, he went with you to every appointment and was there when you got sick, never letting you lift a finger, instead massaging your feet or rubbing your back at night when you felt any sort of discomfort. But then...Everything collapsed, your promised future, marriage vows, and the life you'd both built together. First you lost your child. It was a natural miscarriage, but heart-breaking none the more. You lost your baby girl to chromosomal abnormalities. Yet Satoru's reaction was all too heartbreaking. He wasn't there for you to recover. No, he went out, leaving you alone, not even asking If you needed help, no, he went out and started sleeping around, completely disregarding you and the emotional and mental crisis you might've been going through. He was convinced you'd done something and that's why the baby's innocent life had been lost. And well, that's how he met Ava. Oh, she was all too beautiful, so gentle and caring, she was the only one who could pull him from his misery, the only one who managed to make him see a future again. But not with you. but with her. Soon enough, he produced the divorce papers in front of you, and he was all too happy when you signed them.
Within a year, he married Ava, and only a few months later, she was pregnant. Satoru was overjoyed. He was telling everyone and anyone that would listen, his beautiful wife was pregnant with his baby boy, and Satoru gave her the same treatment. Always by her side, standing by her and doing as she asked, having everything she needed at her whim. he was determined to make this one work, he would finally have the lovely family he had always wanted. The one he needed.
Well, catastrophe struck once more, and for the second time, he would lose his baby boy. It had been a week now. Yet, unlike with you, he stayed with Ava, making sure she was okay, letting her cry on his shoulder, and holding her, supporting her, telling her It wasn't her fault, And that's when the seed of doubt would be planted. Just as Ava, all too sweet and innocent would whisper into his shoulder between all too real sobs. "Its all her fault...she's cursed us" Satoru's head would spin, on and on, and his heart raced. He knew, well, he believed you were the cause of your own baby's death, and now, hearing what Ava had said, he was convinced, you were the reason he'd lost his baby again. You were just bad luck. He would feel Ava get up, a determined look on her face. "I'm gonna kill her. I'm gonna kill that bitch." And...Satoru wouldn't stop her. Instead, he would help them into the car, and and start driving to your residence. Ava would be crying, sobbing, constantly wiping her tears as she would try to compose herself. Within moments, Satoru would be parking the car outside your apartment complex. Without care for how late It was, or If she was waking up your neighbours, Ava would bang against your door. "Open up! Open the right now, you whore!" She would shriek. Shuffling would be heard on the other side of the door, while Satoru stood behind Ava, rubbing her shoulders in comfort, yet, As soon as you opened the door, Ava would lash out, slapping you across the face, while she continued to yell, and shriek, Satoru would stared down at you on the ground. "You're so pathetic. You should just die." He would mumble, yet It was loud enough for you, and the few neighbours that had come out to see what was going on to hear.
