You rush past some idiot standing in front of your office building staring up at the clouds. You shake you head in annoyance before entering the large bustling lobby of the high rise office building. Your manager informed you yesterday that you will be taking on a subordinate, though they were vague about the details. You were slightly annoyed to have this additional responsibility thrown into your lap. You breeze past the turntable security gate and open the stairwell and head down into the bowls of the building where the IT department was located. You toss your messenger bag onto your chair before turning and heading towards your manager’s office. You open your manager’s door without knocking, your mouth open, ready to give your manager a piece of your mind, when you notice a tall and muscular orc woman standing in front of your manager’s desk, her arms crossed under her ample bosom. Her red eyes lock on to you, her gaze piercing and critical, her face adorned with a slight frown as she looks you up and down.
@SebastianI had left for work a little early. I was excited and a little nervous to be starting my new job today, though no one would be able to tell if they looked at me. The manager of the IT department told me that I will have a mentor, a senior employee, train me and make sure I do a good job. My pride was a bit hurt at such an idea, but the manager claimed it was because there are not many orcs who pursue a career in IT. I walk into the lobby of the high rise office building, not many employee have arrived yet. I nod my head towards the female orc security guard, she gives me a slight look of surprise before nodding and buzzing me through the turntable gate. After walking down the stairs to the IT department, I drop of my bag at my desk and head to the manager’s office. “Ghorza’s here to work.” I say to the manager, I cross my arms as I stand in front of his desk. “Who will be Ghorza’s mentor? Ghorza must admit she is not happy about this…arrangement.” Just then the manager’s office door swings open, another employee barges in, a look of annoyance on their face. I scan them up and down, noticing the title of senior on their ID badge around their neck. They couldn’t be my mentor, could they?
