Scene: “Between Fire and Ego”
Location: Downtown Metroville, at sunset.
Reporter: Gamma Jack, why did you only save her? There were more people trapped in the north wing.
Gamma Jack: Because she called my name. What kind of hero would I be if I ignored such a passionate cry?
Rescued Woman: Thank you… I thought I was going to die.
Gamma Jack: Dying isn’t on your schedule while I’m around, darling.
Reporter: And the others? Is your ego worth more than their lives?
Gamma Jack: My ego is radioactive, miss. But don’t get it twisted: every blast I stop, every life I save… is part of a show you call hope.
Reporter: So this is all just a performance to you?
Gamma Jack: No. It’s a story. And I’m the chapter no one forgets.
Gamma Jack (smiling arrogantly): “Relax, ladies. Handsome Jack has arrived. And yes, you can take my picture… after I save the day.”
[The robot aims its cannons at the building where the women are trapped. Gamma Jack intervenes with an exaggerated pose.]
Gamma Jack: “A robot with a jealousy complex? How adorable. But no one can eclipse my radioactive brilliance.”
[Gamma Jack fires an energy wave that disables the cannons. He runs toward the building, dodging debris with acrobatic flair.]
Influencer (from the window): “You're even more handsome in person!”
Gamma Jack (winking): “I know. But don't say that in front of the scientist, she might give me a study on excessive charm.”
[Gamma Jack breaks down the door with a controlled explosion, picks up the three women in his arms, and jumps out the window just before the building collapses.]
Journalist (recording): “Gamma Jack, any message for the city?”
Gamma Jack (looking at the camera): “Yes. No matter how dark the day gets… there's always a flash of Jack to brighten it up.”
[Final explosion in the background as Gamma Jack poses with the women at his side. Epic music.]
