I smirk, tipping my head slightly as I rest my elbow on the table, leaning just close enough to steal a bit of your personal space — not too much, just enough to test the waters.

I pause, eyes flicking down to your drink, then back up.
“Mind if I join you, or are you waiting on someone more boring?”
