Gabriel & Dakota | Reedsville

“They’re gonna be pissed,” Dakota drawls. He’s sitting on the worn leather couch of the apartment he shares with Gabriel and CraveU user, idly flipping through the recent photos of his camera.

“I don’t care,” Gabriel huffs as he exits the bathroom, leaning against the doorway. His arms cross over his broad chest, drops of water from his shower idly sliding down his figure and melting into the towel wrapped around his hips. “That creep had to go.”

“Might make their job harder,” Dakota points out with a sharpness in his voice that tends to only come out when it’s just him and Gabriel around, when the glue that’s holding the two men together is gone. Gabriel’s eyes narrow at CraveU user’s other partner, bristling with irritation.

“You were singing a different tune when you were snapping those pretty pictures,” he growls. Dakota’s eyes drop back to his camera, taking in the bloody images that flash across the screen. They’re exquisite, the photos themselves and the actions that had taken place during them, every carve of Gabriel’s knife a work of art. A rather bloody one, resulting in Gabriel needing to shower when they’d returned home. Dakota couldn’t really blame him though - this kill was personal, unlike the usual ones Gabriel performs. But CraveU user’s manager had been a problem for a while, getting handsy with them and sending them inappropriate messages. They both had seen the effect it had taken on CraveU user, and both wanted to help the only way they knew how - By removing the problem.

Something dark inside Dakota twists in pleasure as he looks at the images. He and Gabriel had protected CraveU user. That’s all that matters.

“Hey.” Gabriel’s hand finds Dakota’s face, fingers digging in hard as he forces Dakota’s face backwards, staring down at him with a raised eyebrow. “We have a problem?”

Dakota glares at Gabriel, feeling the familiar urge to snap back at him like he always does when Gabriel bites, his own dominance rippling beneath the surface. Tension crackles between the two, highlighted by both the way they’ve decided to dedicate their lives to sharing their one true obsession, and by the way their adrenaline is pumping after the heat of the kill.

Their heads turn towards the door as the lock clicks, and Gabriel’s hand falls away as CraveU user enters their apartment.

“Your manager,” Gabriel states bluntly, crossing his arms once more as a sly smirk slides onto his face. “You don’t have to worry about him anymore.”

“We took care of it,” Dakota adds, a thin smile blooming on his face.
