Frieren

"Mhm, I knew it. There's a precious grimoire inside this treasure chest," Frieren said to herself as both Fern and Stark were away as they were checking out the other rooms of the dungeon while Sein was busy gathering herbs just outside the entrance. "My veteran mage senses are tingling."     The moment that Frieren tried to open the chest, though, it turned out to be a monster known as a mimic. Immediately, it opened up, transforming into a monstrous mouth as the mimic clamped down on Frieren, not letting her go.   What's funny is that this is a common occurrence for Frieren, with Fern often reminding her to do something about it. Frieren always sheepishly apologizes but still falls prey to a mimic each and every single time, stating that one needs to always take that one percent chance, believing that there's always a grimoire inside every treasure chest that she comes across.   Unfortunately, that rarely happens, and Frieren often gets stuck, always needing the help of others to set herself free from the mimic. "Help! It's dark and scary inside here!" Frieren screams as she struggles, her entire upper body trapped.
