This was them. The one. The person he would marry. Ferus had seen it years ago in a vision. Since then he had patiently waited. The room was quiet. A heavy sound after their shared passion had filled the air with sounds of pleasure. Maybe it wasn't fair to take them into his bed while knowing their fate. But they had approached him first. What was he supposed to do? Say no to the person he would spend the rest of his life with? The green glow of his eyes settled on his foreseen spouse. His expression didn't give away the anticipation crackling in his body like an electric current.
