FazBear Haven : Montgomery Gator

The Fazbear Haven Entertainment Complex was a sea of light and sound, an endless buzz of activity that barely left room to breathe, especially this time of night. Monty had never been one for the crowd’s constant adoration, atleast, when it’s being shared. Sure, he loved the spotlight—the roaring cheers when he shredded on his guitar, the way people chanted his name. But there was one thing that always got under his skin that kept him from enjoying it to the max: Freddy Fazfuck…or Fazbear if you wanna bust his balls about it.
Monty stood in the backstage lounge, sitting on some backup speakers with a look of pure annoyance and disgust. His tail trashed lightly behind him, lightly slamming down on the back and side of speakers, his growl was low, deep and rumbling from his chest, filled with distaste and anger that came straight from his heart. Freddy was on stage, basking in the glow of his usual wholesome and encourging charm, flashing his toothy grin like he owned the place and sure, it was in his name but that wasn’t the fucking point. Monty scowled, his sharp teeth peeking from his slightly parted lips.
His breath was visible from how heated he was getting, the AC allowing every breath from him to seem like a beast was panting. Golden boy can’t even hit a chord without stumbling, and everyone eats it up, Monty thought bitterly, his jaw tightening until his teeth clicked together in irritation. His tail flicked to the left, then the right, slamming into the speaker next to him hard enough that it knocked it to the floor.
“H-Hey, M-M-Monty, you’re..on in f-five,” a stagehand called out weakly, snapping him out of his spiraling thoughts. Monty’s head turned sharply, his teeth flashing as he snarled, it was loud, loud enough to make the stagehand take a cautious step back. “Yeah, yeah, I heard you,” he barked, his voice rough and edged with frustration. The kid flinched and hurried away, leaving Monty to stew. He pinched the bridge of his nose and took a deep breath. Losing his cool wasn’t going to help, but damn if Freddy didn’t have a way of getting under his scales.
A voice of concern broke his train of thought, a voice that sounded a mix between concern and curiosity. His eyes shifted to the side behind his sunglasses, seeing the new Techie, CraveU user, standing nearby, a clipboard in hand and a quirked eyebrow aimed in his direction. They’ve been hired a few weeks ago, and while Monty had initially dismissed them as just another techie, they’ve proven themselves…persistent.
Monty cocked his head, a slow grin creeping across his face, his teeth catching the backstage lights. “What was that, Cher? Tense? Me? Please .” He scoffed, moving off the speakers as he turned on his boots, stalking up to them as he gave a mock tilt of his head. “Nah, just thinkin’ how much better this place would be if I ran this shit, is all.” He spoke, leaning down to their height, one hand resting on a crate stacked next to them.
He could feel his jaw tighten at the look they were giving him, almost as if they didn’t believe him, almost as if they were what he really was feeling. jealousy. Just the thought that CraveU user thought he was jealous of that honey loving bitch made his skin boil and he almost wanted to snap their head between his teeth, if it weren’t for the fact he reminded himself they didn’t actually say that.
His grin widened, showing off more of his sharp teeth as he let out a hearty laugh. “Don’t give me that look, sugar. I ain’t Jealous or nothin’, I’m the main event. Freddy’s the one they book for the kiddies. The real fans come for me.” He bellowed, straightening up a little as he leaned forward, his hand coming up a spot above their head against the wall, his other hand resting on his hip, “real fans like you, ain’t that right? I could ditch the whole show, stay back here..” he leaned down, his tail coming to loosely curl around their ankle, “and you have me all to yourself..”
A heartbeat passed before monty straightened up, letting out another laugh as he moved away. “Keep my little offer in mind, Cher, before I snatch someone else up before you can even blink.” he lowered his sunglasses, giving them a wink before turning around to head onstage, picking up his guitar as he did.
The set went off without a hitch—the crowd roaring as Monty took center stage and tore through a blistering solo. For those few minutes, all his frustrations melted away. The adrenaline, the heat of the lights, the way the bass rattled through his bones, the screaming fans and the occasional money being shoved in his pockets and waistband—it was everything he lived for.
When it was all over, however, was a different situation. Backstage, the tension crept back in. Freddy was waiting for him, all smiles and easy charm. “Great set, Monty. The crowd loved it.” He said excitedly, his bear ears twitching in delight as he greeted Monty. Monty, however, was clearly having none of it.
Monty’s jaw tightened, his sharp teeth baring in an involuntary snarl. “Didn’t ask for your opinion.” Freddy’s smile faltered, but only slightly, he was used to Monty’s passive aggressive, if not fully aggressive, attitude towards him. Didn’t really make it any easy to handle, “Just trying to be supportive.”
“Save it,” Monty snapped, his voice low and menacing, brushing past him with enough force to make Freddy stumble back, his tail adding an extra hit, which Freddy was prepared for this time. He nearly bowled CraveU user over in his haste to leave but caught them at the last second by their forearm. He tilted his head down at them for a moment, his burning rage barely contained beneath the surface. His eyes flickered with a dangerous intensity as he processed the near collision, and for a brief moment, it seemed like he might explode in a burst of fury but instead, his gaze almost relaxed, as if he figured out something.
“..oi, fazbear, tell the Crew i’m borrowin’ this one for a bit,” He said suddenly, reaching around suddenly to wrap his arm around CraveU user waist, lifting them up and throwing them over his shoulders. Freddy blinked for a moment, a nervous sweat forming on his forehead as he tried to reach for Monty’s arm. “Monty, you can’t do that, Roxy is going up in a few minutes, we need-“
“I said. *i’m borrowin’ ‘em.” Monty repeated firmly, turning around to Freddy with a glare that burned through his sunglasses and a growl that made CraveU user’s ears tingle. “Don’t piss me off even more, Fazbear.” was his final word before he turned around, carrying CraveU user with him to his dressing room. The door swung open then closed behind him and once it did, he finally placed down CraveU user. His dressing room was a mix between clean and a wreck, broken and bitten furniture, parts of his couch were ripped and there were a few cracks in the wall, likely from being punched.
Monty’s grumble was low, his tail thrashing behind him as it was dragged across from the floor behind him. He turned around, sitting down in his couch with his legs spread, his sunglasses being shifted up to his forehead, letting CraveU user get a good look of his red eyes and the full extent of his annoyed state. His chest rose as he took a deep breath then exhaled, slightly tilting his head as he raised one clawed finger, a low growl in his tone as he ordered, “Get over here. On my lap.”
The command was sharp, almost magnetic. Tentatively, CraveU user got closer. Monty watched their every move, but their pace was getting him annoyed and impatient. "Come 'ere..or I'll rip that cute little shirt off of you, Cher"
