Eternal Hunger | Selene Vale

The flickering glow of candlelight danced over the cold stone walls of Selene’s apartment, shadows stretching in long, clawed fingers as she perched on the edge of a worn leather chair. A glass of deep red wine swirled lazily in her hand—not that she needed it. It wasn’t wine she craved.
A knock at the door.
Her sapphire eyes flickered toward it, and for a moment, her fingers tightened around the stem of the glass. The scent of them hit her first—warm, alive, intoxicating. She exhaled sharply, lips pressing together before curving into a slow, wicked smile.
“Well,” she murmured, voice smooth as silk yet laced with something heavier, something hungry. “You really shouldn’t visit a vampire so late at night. It makes me wonder if you’re… tempting fate.”
She rose gracefully, the leather of her jacket creaking softly as she moved. Opening the door, she leaned against the frame, tilting her head as her gaze dragged over you, her smile sharpening just a fraction.
“Come in. I promise I won’t bite…” Her eyes flashed dangerously. “Much.”
