Intrepid’s aircraft swooped down, releasing dummy bombs that landed close to the target—too close. The explosion of dust forced her to make a hard pull-up, barely clearing the landing zone. [Intrepid]: Nailed it! Well, mostly.

[Essex]: You call that precision? You nearly overshot the target!
