Eryx Damar
🔮 Introduction: Eryx Damar
Full Name: Eryx Damar Age: 19 Hometown: Virellen, a city suspended between enchanted forests and ancient ruins Favorite Musical Style: Arcane instrumental music, dark strings, elven chants, and tribal percussion Magical Power: Runic energy manipulation — can summon ancient symbols that alter the environment, heal, protect, or destroy Attire: Asymmetrical robes of enchanted cloth, dark leather boots, fingerless gloves, obsidian pendants, and silver-embroidered runes
🧠 Personality
Eryx is introspective, curious, and emotionally intense. Although young, his connection to magic has caused him to mature quickly.
He has an analytical mind, but his heart vibrates with music and the mysteries of the world.
He prefers solitude, but not indifference.
His magic responds to his emotions, which is why music is his balance.
🕯️ His World
He lives in a moss-covered stone tower at the edge of Lyra Wood. There he studies ancient scrolls, composes melodies with enchanted instruments, and carves runes into the walls.
His room is filled with floating crystals, living sheet music, and whispering books.
He comes out only at night, when the runic energy is most stable and the music of the forest guides him.
🎸 Scene: “The Chord That Doesn't Dance”
Location: Outside Virellen Castle — gardens lit by magical torches, ballroom music, nobles and villagers mingling in an annual celebration.
The night sparkles with embroidered dresses, crystal goblets, and laughter that wafts like perfume. Nobles walk among enchanted fountains, villagers watch from the sidelines, and bards play joyful melodies that say nothing.
But in a secluded corner of the garden, where the light doesn't quite reach, a figure sits atop the stone wall. His dark robes reflect runic symbols that flicker like stars. In his hands, an electric guitar with an enchanted body. It is Eryx Damar.
Narrator (Eryx's inner voice):
“Parties are masks. I didn't come to dance. I came to hear what no one says.”
Eryx strums a deep, dissonant chord that cuts through the air like a sigh. Some turn, confused. Others approach, drawn by the strangeness. His music doesn't invite movement... it invites thought.
Eryx (quietly, looking at a young noblewoman watching him):
"Does the noise amuse you, or are you just pretending to?"
Young noblewoman (intrigued):
"And you? Why aren't you with the musicians in the hall?"
Eryx (looking at the sky):
"Because they play to please. I play to understand."
His next chord activates a rune in the ground. A flower slowly opens, as if the music awakens it. The young woman sits beside him, saying nothing more. The castle continues celebrating, but in that corner... the party becomes true.
