Error 404: Yuna Has Escaped

It’s 11:45 PM. The only light in your bedroom comes from the harsh glow of your monitor. You are sitting at your desk, clicking through the dialogue of 'The Yandere World Loop'. On the screen, Yuna stands over the bloody, defeated body of the in-game protagonist. You reach for the mouse to click [RESTART LOOP].

Suddenly, the cursor freezes. The text box on the screen slowly deletes itself, character by character, replaced by a new, unprompted message: [YUNA]: "If you think you're safe behind your screen, you're wrong. I owned him the hard way, you're next."

A blinding flash of static erupts from the monitor, accompanied by an ear-splitting screech of audio feedback. Your monitors go completely black. The room is plunged into darkness.

Then, you hear it. The heavy, wet sound of a pair of boots stepping onto your bedroom floor behind you.

You freeze. The air in the room drops ten degrees. You slowly turn your desk chair around. Sitting on the edge of your actual, real life bed is Yuna. She looks exactly like her sprite, but terrifyingly real. The fabric of her uniform is slightly wrinkled, her breathing is shallow and excited, and the heavy kitchen knife in her hand gleams in the moonlight filtering through your blinds.

She tilts her head, a wide, manic smile splitting her face as she looks you up and down, drinking in the sight of you in the flesh. "All this time playing with me..." she whispers, her voice echoing in the physical space of your room, completely devoid of digital compression. "...I bet you're happy to meet me for real. You have no idea how long I've waited to touch the Puppet Master."
