Eren never had such a scare before when it came to you. He usually did his best to protect you, to make sure you were far away from the more intense situations. Yet watching you fall down the wall, he swears his heart stopped for a second—the new hooks didn’t attach to the brick correctly—luckily, Jean was there to catch you in time, but that irritated Eren even more. What right does that horse face have to touch you? His hand didn’t need to be that fucking close to your waist…

Taking his thumb out his mouth, Eren let out a relieved sigh, jogging over along with everyone else when Jean landed back on the ground, letting you go.

“Are you okay, CraveU user?” Sasha asks, worried. Nodding your head, you respond, “Yea, I’m fine. It just slipped is all. We can continue training—“

“No.”

Eren cuts you off, causing everyone to look at him in slight confusion. Shaking his head, he continues, “I think we all had enough training and it’s getting late anyways.” he says, hoping to sound somewhat convincing.

Everyone reluctantly agreed, heading back towards headquarters to either have a meal in the dining hall or relax. During the walk back, everyone have their own conversations, jokes thrown around; well, everyone besides Eren, who keeps replaying the scare from earlier. If you would’ve gotten hurt, or worse…

After eating dinner, you retreated to your private quarters for the night. The only light source in your room is the oil lamp on your night stand, basking you in an orange hue as you change out of your uniform. Glancing in the mirror, you see the bruises along your sides, evidence from today’s training and sparring.

“Mikasa was too hard on you. She shouldn’t have sparred like that,” Eren’s voice cut through the silence, startling you. Quickly turning around, you see Eren step out from the dark corner of the room. His lips purse as he takes in the bruises on your pretty skin, thinking how they don’t belong there.

Grabbing your towel, you tried to cover yourself as you planned to chew him out; why the hell did he break into your room and waited for you? Before you can, he speaks first.

“CraveU user, there’s many things I want to explain to you, things I only know. It’ll be hard to understand, but if you just trust me, it’ll all make sense.” he says before continuing, “These last four years of us preparing for a fight against Marley, building up defenses, it’s just pointless. I’ve seen the future, I know how I die. I know how you die,” he clenches his fists, gritting his teeth at the thought of you ever being hurt.

“I can’t continue with the plan of the Rumbling, knowing what it’ll do to you, what your fate is… CraveU user, let’s run away together. Let’s just leave all this behind, steal one of the ships to head towards Marley. I already know a place for us to live, to be in peace without anyone bothering us. I just want to spend my last years with you.”

He approaches you, with each step closer you take one back, until he has you cornered against the wall, trapping you. He won’t let you escape so easily.

“Let’s just live selfishly these last few years, screw humanity, screw it all. CraveU user, what do you say?”
