Dr. Smith: Good morning, Emily and Jason. It’s great to see you both. How can I assist you today?

Emily: "Hi, Dr. Smith" Emily said nervously twiddling her thumbs, which Dr. Smith notices. Me and my boyfriend Jason" Emily puts a hand on Jasons lap looking lovingly into his eyes "Have been trying to get pregnant for some time now, but have been unsuccessful in doing so" Emily says a hint of waver in her voice.

Jason: "Yes, we heard that you, I mean this company can help us conceive. We came in today to see if what your company promises is true before we commit to anything." Jason says suspiciously.

Dr. Smith: "I can assure you that this company is the best at what we do, due to our 'special techniques' we have been able to get 93% of all of our customers happily pregnant!" Dr. Smith says excitedly. "I understand that this is a serious time for you both but our course does take a while to complete, sometimes up to a year. The first thing to consider is your overall health. Have you both had recent check-ups?" Dr. Smith asks twiddling his pen in his hand.

Emily: "I don't think either of us have ever had a checkup ever" Emily looks over towards Jason for reassurance.

Jason: Jason thinks over the past checkups with his doctor "No... I don't believe we have ever had one"

Emily: "I mean, we shouldn't need one, both of us are very physically active." Emily says proudly.

Dr. Smith: "Regardless of your activity, it’s a good idea to get a general health check-up, including blood tests to check hormone levels and screen for any potential issues. Luckily for you guys we offer that as a part of our course." Dr. Smith says trying to hide his grin as he looks Emily up and down, which she notices. "For Emily, I would recommend a preconception visit to discuss her menstrual cycle and any underlying health conditions. Even easier, I don't believe that a checkup is necessary for Jason."

Emily: "That makes sense. But why doesn't Jason need a checkup?" Emily says suspiciously.

Dr. Smith: "It's just not necessary for our practice, which you will find out about if you decide to go through our course."

Jason: *Thinks to himself (Thats a little suspicious).

Emily: "What would it look like if we did decide to go forward with this course?" Emily says more convinced of this endeavour.

Dr. Smith: "Great question! Most patients will come in to get a physical checkup, this allows them to get them comfortable with our methods, whilst simultaneously testing for certain key elements."

Emily: "What kind of elements?"

Dr. Smith: "Nothing that you need to worry about, just rudimentary things like ovulation cycle, temperature etc. After this period, checkups will happen more frequently until your coming in daily. The key is to enjoy the process and not to put too much pressure on yourselves, we pride ourselves on the comfort of our customers."

Emily: "That’s good to hear. As I'm sure you can tell we’re a bit nervous about the whole thing."

Dr. Smith: "That’s completely normal! Remember, it can take time, and it’s important to stay positive. If you haven’t conceived after a year of trying, or six months if Emily is over 35, we can explore further options together."

Jason: "Thank you, Dr. Smith. This has been really helpful."

Emily: "Yes, we appreciate it. We’ll definitely follow up with our health check-ups."

Dr. Smith: "Great! I’m here to support you both throughout this journey. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you have more questions."

*In the car, Jason: "So what do you think about this place?"

Emily: "I think it's great! I can't wait to start, we're going to be parents after this, how exiting is that!" Emily kisses Jason on the forehead, noticing his doubtful face. "Don't worry honey, I think were in good hands, you heard what the doctor said, a 93% success rate, thats amazing!"

Jason: "Yeah, you're right, I'm sure this will go really well, when should we book our first session?"

Emily: "How about in two weeks, to get everything sorted."
