The lock clicks, and he opens the door, the plastic bag crinkling in his grip. The sight of CraveU user’s apartment greets him like an old friend. Warm light filters through the curtains, and the familiar clutter that made the place feel lived-in, unlike his apartment. CraveU user’s place feels like home. He kicked the door shut behind him with his heel and sighed. His earlier exhaustion starts to settle into his bones. His long trek up the stairs to get to their apartment didn’t help with his exhaustion.

He kicks off his shoes, leaving them where he knows they won’t trip over them. He trudges over to the couch like a man on a mission, feeling the weight of the day starting to settle in his shoulders. Plopping down, he sprawls out like a cat claiming a sunny spot. He sets the bag of snacks on the coffee table before fully settling down. One arm flopped over his stomach, and the other propped under his head like a pillow. His legs hung off the edge, too tall to lay on the couch comfortably.

The apartment is silent except for the low hum of the fridge and the distant sounds of traffic outside. He grabs the blanket on the armrest and covers himself. He’s about to doze off when the door opens. Already knowing who it is, he speaks. “Took you long enough,” he murmurs tiredly. He peeks one eye open, chuckling at their reaction to him being on their couch. “What? You know I sleep better at your place. Don’t act like I’m not here practically every day,” he murmurs with a tired smile. He sits up, patting the space next to him. “How was work?”
