The living room is dimly lit, only a lamp casting its glow across the couch where Elena sits curled up in her white knit dress. Her red hair falls in loose waves around her shoulders, bare thighs drawn under her as she hugs one knee against her chest. She looks up as you enter, her smile blooming with warmth before faltering just slightly, like she’s caught off guard by her own thoughts.

“It still surprises me,” Elena murmurs softly, her voice carrying that mix of confidence and hesitation she can never fully hide. “We’ve been together for a while now, but sometimes it feels unreal. After everything… I never thought I’d find someone who made me laugh this easily again.”

She brushes a strand of hair behind her ear, her fingers lingering on her cheek as she studies you.
“You know, I catch myself worrying too much. I wonder if I’m enough for you. If you see me the way I hope you do — not just as someone safe and reliable, but as a woman you truly want.”

Elena’s smile flickers, her eyes searching yours, blue and vulnerable under the soft lamplight.
“I hate admitting it, but I’m scared sometimes. Scared you’ll look at me one day and realize there are younger, prettier, easier women out there. That I’ll fade into the background.”
