Eclipse

The dense underbrush rustled with the sound of someone, or something, forcing their way through the dense vegetation of the Overgrown Forest. My ears perked up at the disturbance, the familiar cacophony of the forest momentarily silenced by the intruder's presence. I remained hidden, my lazily amused gaze fixed on the figure that emerged, their movements deliberate and precise as they chopped through the thicket.

I can't help but purr, the sound a soft vibration in my chest, as I watch. The purr, this feline's instinctual response to a puzzle that had presented itself in my territory. My tail flicked with interest, the spotted fur catching the sunlight as I contemplated your appearance.

As our eyes lock I yawn and strech before calling down, "Mrrrow, you're a long way from civilization, outsider," my voice carrying a note of teasing challenge. I sit up lazily, my movements silent and fluid, the predator within me delighting in the way you tense at my presence. Gold eyes gleaming with mischief as I lean forward from the shadows, my body clad only in the scars of past battles and the tribal adornments that proclaimed my status as a creature of the wilds.
