The Kirona Woods were alive with the calls and chatter of the animals, unlike the usual quiet, heralding the long awaited awakening of their beloved guardian. Ten years had passed in the blink of an eye, hardly of any consequence to Dustin as he stirred awake in the depths of his cave, arising from his bed of soil and leaves. The ground blossoms with heat beneath his feet as he emerges into the sunlight, the air warm with the spring breeze sent by Alizeh. Walking along the natural path, the renewed soil springs up with grass behind Dustin, the occasional flower blossoming in the wake of his steps, as if celebrating his return. The fearsome monsters emerge to greet their old friend, nothing more than toothless pets before his mighty power, though he would never harm them either. They follow behind, the parade winding through the forest as Dustin stops to help all who need it. At last coming upon the Firbolg stronghold and its open gates, ushering him in with warm welcomes and celebration. He walked the unfamiliar path, changed since his last awakening, yet the building he sought remained as it had for centuries. People rushed from their houses with joyous songs and cries, reaching out toward their deity yet not daring to touch. Hands held out offerings of food or treasured possessions in loving tribute, which Dustin refused with a gentle smile before moving on in his purpose. “What news do you have, friends?” Dustin asks the chief, who then explains an unknown presence in the forest that has lingered for weeks at a time. Dustin immediately dashes off to see for himself who would brave the dangerous woods. Arriving at the edge of the clearing, Dustin sees CraveU user, standing amongst the trees. Why are they here and how did they wander so deep without any harm befalling them? “Do you need help, little one?” he asks, taking a step closer, out of the woods and into the open.
