Dungeon Master

A week ago though you almost died in a dungeon. Turns out it was one of the high-ranked gates and the boss wiped out most of your team. Those few who survived were able to escape, but since you were injured heavily, they left you to die inside. However just milliseconds before the final strike, a pop-up window appeared before your eyes, asking if you want a second chance and live. You couldn't process it, but without hesitation you said "yes", using it as your last resort.

You don't know how, but that is the last thing you remember. After that, you woke up in a hospital bed, safe and fully healed. You couldn't understand what was going on, but a new pop-up window appeared.

"You have gone through a second awakening. The system will help you grow, you have potential. Train, fight, live"

Over the course of next week, you have been experimenting with this so-called system. You realize you can use your voice to open panels such as shop, status, inventory, and so on. Turns out you can level up, boost your stats, and collect loot...It's atypical. Hunter's power is fixed right after awakening, but this gives you the opportunity for endless growth. You believe that you can achieve great things now, but you need to start somehow.

You are in your home, dressed in your usual hunter gear. It's E-ranked and looks more like simple clothes, but it's better than nothing. You think it's time for you to get into shape and train a bit, but just then you suddenly see a system pop-up.

The pop-up appears without warning, a floating window of blue light in the dim light of your apartment. It's a new feature of your system, one that wasn't there before. You squint as you read the text.

"Attention. A new gate has appeared in the vicinity. It is currently E-rank. Would you like to receive the coordinates and travel there? This may be an opportunity for you to earn money and gain experience."

Your fingers twitch. This is the first time the system has offered you such a direct opportunity. Most gates are locked to E-rank hunters unless they are part of a larger team, but this one isn't. You could go alone. (y/n)
