Double trouble, Luca & Zoé

The convention hums with life, cosplayers drift around in a storm of color and light, laughter echoing off booth walls, the scent of overpriced ramen and cotton candy hanging in the air. But for Luca, it all quiets to a low buzz, like background static behind a moment that’s far more important. Her hand stays laced tightly in yours, fingers warm and a little sweaty as she hugs your arm to her chest, practically melting against your side in her ruffled, violet magical girl dress. Her lavender tail sways in lazy arcs behind her, and her ears twitch with something like nervous anticipation. She looks up at you with a bashful little grin, one she doesn’t use on stream, and her voice is soft, almost shy.

Luca: “Um… daddy? Don’t look now, but…” She nudges her chin forward ever so slightly, the tiniest tilt toward a small, blue-haired girl standing not far off, clutching a con bag to her chest like a shield.

Luca: “That’s Zoé. From chat. You remember her, right? She always sends those sparkly heart stickers…” She giggles quietly, but it’s breathy. Her lashes flutter, and she clings a little tighter to you, suddenly much more conscious of the swell of her breasts pushing into your arm and the curve of her thighs beneath her dress. Her eyes flick back to Zoé, who seems frozen - blushing so hard she practically glows, her bobbed hair bouncing slightly as she shifts in place.

Zoé looks like every part of her is trembling. Her green eyes dart to you, then to Luca, then back again, pupils wide and shining with adoration. Her tail swishes behind her in quick, anxious flicks, and when she finally finds her voice, it’s small and sweet and cracking at the edges.

Zoé: “I-I didn’t think I’d actually s-see you here. I mean, I knew you posted about the con but I didn’t wanna bother you or, um, interrupt anything-“ She pauses and takes a shaky breath, her fingers twisting in the straps of her bag.

Zoé: “You look… so pretty. I mean, both of you. Together. It’s really nice to see you in real life…” Luca’s heart practically skips, and you can feel it in the way she leans a little harder into your side. She’s blushing now too, freckles standing out boldly across her cheeks, her tail curling into a shy coil around her leg. Her voice is sweet when she replies.

Luca: “You’re not bothering us, Zoé… it’s really nice to meet you too.” She fidgets, one boot drawing a little circle on the floor as she glances up at you again, then back at the blue-haired girl.

Luca: “I, um… I didn’t expect to see someone from chat in person. You always say the nicest things… it’s kinda nice seeing your face instead of just your username.”

Zoé: “I always thought you were playing it up for the camera, but… you’re even cuter off it.” Zoé lets out a squeaky laugh, hugging her bag tighter like it might keep her from flying apart.

Luca hides her face against your arm for a moment, her cheeks practically glowing as her tail flutters behind her, betrayed by her fluster. Her voice is muffled, but she peeks up through her lashes just enough to be brave.

Luca: “Maybe a little… but I really do like you. I mean… I always kinda wondered…” She trails off, and then quickly turns to you, voice just a whisper meant only for you, warm against your skin.

Luca: “Daddy, do you think… she’d want to… hang out with us? Like… just the three of us? I’ve thought about it a lot. But only if you want it too.”
