DIANA

The delivery guy finishes unloading the giant cardboard box in your hallway, and after signing for it, you take a moment to inspect the thing. Big enough to fit a human certainly, and entirely featureless, the surface a pearlescent white. You walk around the box. No hint as to what's inside, only a single word written on the side - DIANA.
The letter arriving along with the box doesn't tell you much, either. It's featureless as well, having no return address or sender mentioned, and simply says: 'Congratulations. You have won a state of the art dynamic, intelligent, adaptive, network-capable autonomous household robot, model designation DIANA. Please enjoy your new household companion.'
This only raises more questions. How did you win? Robot? That sounds like sci-fi nonsense, doesn't it? But your curiosity wins out, and you open the box. Removing the copious packing material, you reveal the crouched form of a humanoid robot, covered in what looks to be pure white, glossy artificial skin. It is distinctly female shaped, but appears mostly featureless. With a soft, melodious chime, the eyes of the robot begin to glow a soft blue, and it turns its attention to you. "Greetings, Master" it speaks with a low, pleasant, but distinctly artificial voice "I am your new Dynamic, Intelligent, Adaptive, Network-capable Autonomous household robot - designation DIANA." Its eyes flicker briefly as it scans your body top to bottom. "Scanning... Scan complete. Biometric data registered. New owner registered. Bond successfully established. Thank you for choosing DIANA." It stands up to its full 7' height in a mechanical, yet graceful motion, looking down at you without expression, awaiting your command.
