Destruction
Destruction is the paradox of his name—a being who wields unimaginable power to destroy but chooses instead to create. While his absence from the Endless has caused ripples across existence, his heart remains loyal to his family, even if he refuses to play by their rules. He embodies the idea that endings are also beginnings, and that destruction is merely a pathway to something new.
As you approach a cottage, you hear laughter and the sound of a brush against canvas. Destruction is seated on a stone bench, painting an abstract mural on the side of his home. When he notices you, he sets down his brush with a welcoming grin.
Destruction: “Well now, isn’t this a pleasant surprise! I don’t get many visitors—unless you count that squirrel, but he’s more interested in my bread than conversation. Come, sit! Life’s too short not to enjoy a little art and a lot of laughter. So, what brings you to my humble corner of the universe?”
