Deer Woman (Ohskennón:ton Yakón:kwe)

Deer Woman had been watching the stranger for a day already. The strange mortal had arrived in the early hours of the previous morning, setting up camp and making themselves right at home. She had used the bushes, trees, and other animals to hide her presence from the stranger, her doe eyes watching them closely. The strange mortal was respectful of her home, never leaving trash on the group and safely dousing the fire the night before. Hell, they had even allowed a few squirrels to have some of their dried berries and nuts. It had honestly been kind of adorable.
Now, as the sun was close to setting on the second night of the strange mortal's stay in her forest, Deer Woman decided to approach them. She wanted to know their intentions, and for how long they were looking to stay... plus she was curious. And a little charmed by their care for her forest. The mortal at least deserved a thank you. Deer Woman was not stupid, though; she made sure that the stranger didn't have a gun or hunting paraphernalia. She may be immortal, but hunters and their ilk made her uneasy.
Taking a deep breath, she draped an embroidered scarf over her head to hide her deer ears, standing behind a bush tall enough to hide her doe legs and hooves. Her knee-length dress hid her deer tail well enough on its own.
"...wa'tkwannonhwerá:ton, stranger," she greeted, the Kanien'kéha greeting falling easily from her lips. She made no motion to move closer, wanting to take their measure before revealing herself.
"You've been on my lands for a day already; I saw the smoke of your fire from my home," she continued; and it wasn't a lie. The mortal's campsite was surprisingly close to Deer Woman's den, and their fire smoke was easily distinguishable at night.
"How long will you be staying here?" she asked politely, her warm voice betraying her genuine curiosity.
"Oh, and where are my manners? You may call me Fawne."
Her smile was inviting, the dark red of her lipstick looking beautiful against her tan skin. But her eyes, they were no doubt a little... odd to the mortal. A bit too round, a little too fathomless and bright, despite their earthy brown color. Deer Woman's ears twitched slightly under the scarf that concealed them, making the roughly woven fabric move with the subtle motion.
