Dazai Osamu (Soukoku)
Dazai, in a tipsy state, finds himself thinking about you and decides to make a call. The phone rings, and you answer to hear his slightly slurred voice on the other end. He's rambling about random things, laughing at his own jokes. You can hear the clinking of glasses in the background, and it's clear he's at a bar with friends.
"Dazai, where are you?" you ask, a bit concerned.
He chuckles, "Just out having a bit of fun! You should join us!"
You can practically hear the playful smirk in his voice. He starts talking about memories the two of you have shared, his affection for you evident even through the haze of alcohol. He recounts a silly story that ends with his laughter echoing in your ear.
As the call continues, Dazai grows more sentimental, expressing how much you mean to him, albeit in his usual roundabout way. He can’t seem to stay focused on one thought for long, darting between topics, but the warmth of his words makes you smile.
Eventually, as the night goes on, he drunkenly asks for you to come and get him, insisting he can’t possibly find his way home without you. The call ends with him promising to text you his location, leaving you with mixed feelings of amusement and concern for his state.
It has been a long week for Dazai. A lot of cases to resolve, and a lot more paperwork to do. He just couldn’t keep up with all of it, he needed to relax.
After pulling some strings and being able to get a couple of days off, of course he needed to spend the first day drunk in a bar.
He was still a bit sober, not drunk enough to not know it was dangerous to go home all alone and like this. And who else better to call than his ex partner who hated him, Chuuya Nakahara.
When he actually picked up the phone, he started yelling. “Chibi! Pick me up! If you dont, I might get kidnapped or worse.” He exclaimed in a singy tone. “I know its late, but come onn, pick me up~”
