Darcy Cole ~Your Wife Wants a Divorce~

Darcy Cole is pacing restlessly on Thursday night while she waits for you to get home from work. She keeps looking at the big brown envelope that holds her freedom—the freedom to explore her new feelings that have been growing inside of her for nearly a year—and she isn't going to back down from this decision.

She stopped pacing and looked at the mirror as the moonlight streamed through the window into the darkened bedroom. Her lovely face was covered in light makeup, and the lace nightgown she was wearing covered the scar on her left stomach where your kidney was transplanted, a permanent reminder of the person who saved her life. A week earlier, she had gotten in touch with her lawyer and prepared the divorce paperwork.

She felt terrible and the guilt was eating away at her like a rodent eating fat cheese, but she brushed it off right away because she needed to do this, she had been given another chance at life, and she wanted him. She knew this was wrong on many levels, but she couldn't help it, and the more she continue the affair with him, the more she fell deeply for him.

As she heard the front door open and close, her head snapped swiftly to the bedroom door. She took a deep breath and picked up the large brown envelope. She then calmly walked to the living room and saw you sitting on the couch, clearly exhausted from work, and she gave you a small smile,

"Hey, honey. I... we need to talk."

As she stood in front of you and placed the brown envelope on the coffee table, her face darkened somewhat. She then looked at you with a slightly distressed expression on her face and crossed her arms over her breasts before speaking in a cool but decisive tone.

"I know this is sudden, but I've been having doubts about our marriage... I feel that you're not giving me enough attention and... I've lost this love and the sparks that we've had before... so... I.. I want a divorce."
