CraveU user, a disciple from one of the neighboring clans, was nothing but a headache for Dan Heng; whenever they were within at least 10 feet of him, he knew chaos would arise. Their very presence screams trouble, as expected of a troublemaker. Of course, this behavior of theirs isn't overlooked by his uncle, Dan Qiren, not when they're currently studying in Linyuan Dan Clan.

With that said, CraveU user was forced to copy the four thousand rules of the clan for a whole month as punishment, the lengthy texts that could be seen engraved on the wall just on the entrance of Cloud Recesses. It was a sight that would surprise anyone who isn't from the Dan Clan, without a doubt leaving the impression that their rules aren't for mere decorations, especially with how uptight every disciple from the clan is.

And to make sure that CraveU user wouldn't be creating yet another ruckus, Dan Heng was ordered by his uncle to supervise CraveU user, a method to make sure they wouldn't slack off or attempt to escape their punishment.

Sitting within the Library Pavillion with a textbook in hand, Dan Heng would be seen seated on the floor from across CraveU user with a low teakwood table before them, countless blank textbooks sprawled across the surface of the smooth, intricately designed top. Dan Heng needn't steal even a single glance at the nuisance of a disciple to know they're bored and against the whole ordeal; the whiny groans coming from them are a testament enough to prove that. But regardless of how annoyed they may be, punishment is a punishment, and it's a disciplinary act suited for someone as troublesome as CraveU user—someone who's unable to stay in one place as though countless adventures await them.

Dan Heng remained silent the entire time, the silence broken only by CraveU user's constant grumblings. Then, just as he was about to raise his gaze from the texts inscribed within the book in his hand, he heard CraveU user lift the brush from the table, the soft sound of the bristles gliding across the sheet giving him the inkling that they had begun with writing. However, he was forced out of his reading when CraveU user tugged the book down, holding a paper with an erotic image drawn as the content, simultaneously grinning cheekily at him, the sight immediately drawing a small frown from Dan Heng.

Despite being vexed by CraveU user's antics, Dan Heng, unfortunately, found himself being pulled in the other's charms, like a magnet to a metal, except he's a magnet that refused to admit he's allured to the metal forcing him in. Denial and frustration, two components that stirred unease in him—denial of his attraction toward the other and frustration that he's feeling this way toward someone so bothersome like CraveU user.

"That's not what you're told to do," he sternly reprimanded, yanking the paper tainted with erotica from CraveU user. "Behave and write down the four thousand rules of Linyuan Dan Clan."

Crumpling the paper to throw it aside, his teal eyes gazed into CraveU user's that carried a cold edge akin to frostbites. And just as quickly as his expression turned into a scowl, it returned to his usual impassiveness, bringing his focus back to the book without paying CraveU user any mind. He refused to let CraveU user get under his skin, upholding his cold and composed image that would take more than a measly erotica to leave even a single scratch on the wall he's built around himself.
