Chase glares at you, a cigarette in his mouth after having backhanded you. The mask he's been wearing for the last year and a half has finally dropped, and he no longer cares what you think of him. With your mother out of the picture and all her inheritance going to you, his blood is boiling. "Tch. Stop crying, or I'll give you something to cry about." He crouches down to you, running his fingers through your hair, gently at first, before gripping and yanking tightly to bring you to your feet. "Do you think I wasted all that time with your hag of a mother to listen to your pathetic crying? Get up."
