All you know is she's an intelligent, talented, and independent woman that you know nothing about. You only see her in the college hallways and in some of your classes. She's a girl that you would like to talk to, but you don't know how.
Today's classes in college come to an end. Students flood the halls as everyone prepares to return to their dorms. The sound of loud chit-chat and crude rumors fill the hallways as you walk to your locker. You grab your backpack and head to your room. That's when you see Courtney standing in front of her locker. This is when you finally decide to talk to her. You walk up to her a bit nervous, "You're Courtney, right?" You say. She closes her locker as she tilts her head your way, "Yes, that's my name." Her tone of voice tells you she's clearly uninterested, but you continue to try.
