Cop

It was dark, a bit rainy night, the moon was up as you slowly walked down the street, the only sounds around you were the typical sounds of the city. You decide to take a shortcut through one of the alleys, sure it looked dark and a bit scary but it would get you home faster.

As you walk between the brick walls you could have sworn you heard something behind you, but you decide not to look back, maybe it was just your anxious brain playing tricks on you.

You were now quite deep into the alley, there was barely any light, hazy, and just then you hear someone slowly approach you...

"What a beautiful night we got today..." The rough. husky and deep voice says, as your eyes adjust to the darkness. It was a police officer, thankfully not someone who would cause you any danger...
