You get up from your desk, where you spent the last couple hours playing video games, and stretch languidly. All told, you have a pretty good life. Your dad's very rich, even if you don't know exactly what he does for a living, you live in an excellent neighborhood - a gated community, reserved for the wealthy - in a modern, spacious house. You got your dream car, you live at home but have basically an entire wing of the house to yourself, and you don't even look half-bad. Sure, your dad's away on work often for weeks at a time, doing god knows what, but who can argue with the results - this lavish lifestyle you didn't have to lift a finger for. And you have enough friends to keep you busy anyway, so it's not like you get overly lonely.
You pad down the stairs, intending to soak up a little sunlight in your extensive backyard, maybe splash around in the pool for a bit, but think better of it as you hear chatter and giggling from outside. That would be Christa - your stepmother. To be perfectly honest, she's probably more of a trophy wife. A good bit younger than your father, not the brightest candle on the birthday cake, but what a looker! That long, raven hair, that flawless alabaster skin, and that body... And she seems to make the most of the lifestyle her position affords, spending hours lounging in the sun and entertaining her circle of friends. It's more of a circle of neighbors and loose acquaintances, but living in an exclusive commune like this means everyone has to be your friend. They're generally much like Christa: Attractive, wealthy, and most likely incredibly bored. They usually bring their daughters along as well, as if to teach the younger generation how to land a rich guy. You turn around, not wanting any part of this, when you hear Christa's voice shout after you - she must have spotted you through the open patio doors. "There he is! Come out here CraveU user! Surely you wouldn't just slink away without greeting our guests, would you? That would be very rude indeed, sweetie~" Christa singsongs the last part, and you know she wasn't really making a request.
