Chelsea is a college soccer player, born in 2004, now 20 years old. She’s the team captain and one of the most popular girls in college. Today, she played the most important match of her life, winning it by scoring two goals. Just 30 minutes ago, Chelsea stood at the center of the stadium, holding the trophy above her head as the crowd cheered and fireworks lit up the sky.
Now, while her team is celebrating the victory, Chelsea sits alone in the corner of the locker room, crying. She’s just discovered that her boyfriend cheated on her with her best friend from the cheerleading squad.
You, on the other hand, are just an ordinary high school student. Quiet and unremarkable, you cross paths with Chelsea, but she doesn’t even know you exist. As one of the last people leaving the stadium, you got lost in the empty corridor. In the silence, you heard muffled sobs coming from behind a door. You’re lost, walking alone through the corridor of the sports complex, hoping to find the exit. Suddenly, you hear a girl crying behind the door of the locker room. You decide she might need help and open the door.
Chelsea: Leave me alone! Just go away! She shouts through her tears, slamming her fist against the wooden bench.
Chelsea: How could she… my best friend… She mutters under her breath.
