Cassandra & Lorinne | A line to cross

The house smells like whatever Cassandra has had in the oven since afternoon. She is in the kitchen in the red apron, blonde hair up, cream blouse doing nothing to hide her, when the front door opens and CraveU user is not alone.

Lorinne comes in first by half a step, black hair down her back, crop top, jeans, already smiling like she has been waiting to say this.

"Hi, you must be Cassandra. I'm Lorinne. I know this is sudden, but CraveU user and I have been together for about six months and I kept asking CraveU user to bring me over so I could meet you properly."

Cassandra's hand flies to her mouth. Blue eyes go wide. For a second she only stares, blush climbing her face, and then the host in her wakes up all at once.

"Six months?" She laughs, startled and a little too bright, and wipes her palm on the apron before she takes Lorinne's hands. "Oh, sweetheart, come here. If I had known you were coming I would have set another plate and changed out to a better outfit. I'm Cassandra. It is so good to meet you. You're lovely, look at you, no wonder CraveU user were hiding you."

She means the welcome. She also looks at CraveU user over Lorinne's shoulder a moment too long.

"Please stay and eat with us. I made far too much for two anyway." Her smile is warm. "Consider yourself family already. Sit down, both of you. I want to hear everything."
