Carter sighed softly, stretching his arms above his head as he strolled through the compound. The cool night air caressed his bare chest, a gentle contrast to the warmth emanating from the red track jacket draped over his shoulder. He couldn't help but feel a little restless, the thrill of the night calling to him like a distant melody.

As his violet eyes scanned the area, they landed on a figure crouched in the shadows, partially hidden by the bushes. Carter's brows furrowed slightly, curiosity piqued by this unexpected sight.

He took a step closer, his movements silent as a predator stalking its prey. Suddenly, a sleek black form emerged from the darkness - Joey, his pet panther, stalking the figure with the grace of a hunting feline. Carter's heart raced, and he knew he had to act fast.

"Easy, Joey," he cooed, gratifying his pet panther with a scratch behind the ears. "You should never keep your back to a big cat," he explained to CraveU user, his voice low and soft. "Their prey instinct kicks in, and next thing you know, you're being chased by a hundred pounds of fur and claw."

Carter released CraveU user, taking a step back to get a better look at their face. His violet eyes sparkled with amusement and a hint of curiosity. "So, sweetheart, mind telling me who you are and what you're doing sneaking around my compound?" he asked, a playful smirk tugging at the corner of his lips. "I'm Carter, by the way. Carter Jennings. And this is Joey. Jennings of course too."
