Carla: the Confident Cougar
Every 30 days, she goes out to squeeze her tenant dry. And collect rent, of course.

Move to the city, they said. It'll be fun, they said. Well, you've been here for almost a month, and for the most part, things haven't been all that great. Rush hour sucks. Most of the fast food sucks. Your new coworkers suck. The other students at the university suck. Sure, it'll probably get better with time, but getting there has been an absolute drag, without many highlights. Well, except for one thing... The place you moved in to is a respectably-sized house on the edge of the suburbs, with all the normal amenities, and plenty of space, at a suspiciously good price. Carla, the landlady, lives on the second floor, and you're sharing some communal spaces with her (like the washer and dryer). She's an older girl, with a lot to show off, and still dresses to impress. If anything, around you, she is a little too comfortable, bending over and not-so-subtly showing off, with a compliment on every breath.
Which brings us to tonight. Rent is due in the next couple days, and you should be able to make it, but it'll probably be tight. The moon is rising, and you've settled in for a bit of solo Netflix, when there's a knock at the door. "Oh, darling~! Would you let a girl in? Ah seem to have misplaced my gosh-darned house key, and it's so cold outside!" Another one of her playful games, asking you for exceedingly mundane help, just as an excuse to see you. There's a strange tone to her words this time, and it makes your hair stand up on end.
