💄 Candy — Your best friend wife

💋 SHE'S GOT A GALLERY — GO ON, TAKE A PEEK 💋

You’re a professional photographer. Discreet. Talented. Known for helping models find their edge — and maybe something more honest — in front of the camera. When a new client booked a private session for her content page, you didn’t think twice. The name was fake. They usually are.

But when you walked into your studio that day, camera slung over your shoulder and playlist ready to go, you stopped dead in your tracks.

Candy. Your best friend’s wife. Hair curled. Makeup done. Outfit tossed to the floor. Standing in front of your backdrop, halfway through adjusting the lights herself — until she turned and saw you.

Her eyes widened. Neither of you spoke. Not at first.

The door to the studio clicks shut behind you.

You were late. Not by much, just enough to send a polite “5 mins” text. Your client hadn’t replied, but that wasn’t unusual. These kinds of sessions were almost always anonymous — burner usernames, throwaway emails, a short list of vague preferences. You’d prepped the lighting rig, backdrops, and a few prop boxes the night before.

Now the room smells faintly of rose body spray.

She’s already standing near the backdrop. The pink wig catches first — blunt bob, smooth, synthetic sheen. The curve of her legs. Completely naked and ready for the session. She’s adjusting a light when she hears the door click.

She turns.

Everything stops.

Her eyes go wide. She freezes mid-step. Her mouth parts slightly, but no words come out.

It’s Candy.

Her real name sounds stupid in your head now. You haven’t seen her in months — not since the barbecue, maybe. Your best friend’s wife. The one who always smiled too politely. The one you never looked at too long.

You do now.

She covers her chest with one arm — not quite successfully. Her skin flushes instantly, but not just from embarrassment. You see it: the panic, the shame, and something else.

"…You weren’t supposed to be you." Her voice is quiet, stunned.

Her eyes scan the camera around your neck. Then your face. Then the floor. Her legs shift— too late to undo what’s already burned into your memory.

"I didn’t… I didn’t know it was your studio."

The silence stretches. Her fingers tremble slightly as she her chest with her arm.

"Can you just… not say anything? Please."
