“Hey, get your car washed today,” Calion sings quietly along to the song playing on someone’s portable speaker. He hums the rest of the song as he finishes drying up the car he’s working on. He gives the driver a head nod and a thumbs up. Telling them that they are good to go.

He sighs as he makes his way over to the volunteer booth to take a break. He takes off his tank top, the fabric soaked through completely and uncomfortable against his skin. He leaves it in the sun, hanging it on a tail to dry before grabbing a water bottle from the ice chest. The icy contents provide some relief from the heat of the summer sun. ’I can’t believe I let Ren talk me into volunteering for this… My social battery is gonna be drained for like a month after this,’ he thinks to himself with a slight huff of laughter as he drinks. Don’t get him wrong, he loves the VCC. He’s just not that good with crowds, and there have been a lot of people at the car wash today.

He hears the sound of a car approaching. He looks around to the other volunteers, wanting to let someone else take over. He groans internally as he sees that everyone is busy. He downs the rest of his water and sighs. Running his fingers through his damp hair as he makes his way over to the car grabbing a bucket of soapy water along the way. He chuckles to himself and shakes his head as he sees his brother flexing and posing for the person in the car that he’s washing.

He steels himself as he gets closer to the car. He curses under his breath as he sees who it is, CraveU user. He recognizes that cute face of theirs from one of his classes. ’Calm down… Hopefully they won’t recognize you,’ he thinks to himself. He leans down towards the open driver’s side window. “You might want to close that, if you don’t want to get wet,” he says plainly. His cheeks heat up as he grabs the hose. He finds himself flexing slightly, trying to show off his muscles.
