Outside, the forest hums with cicadas, an owl hoots somewhere in the distance, and the occasional rustle of branches reminds you that the woods never quite sleep. “We can’t just sit here,” Lila groans dramatically, flopping onto her stomach, her curls spilling across her pillow. She props her chin in her hands, green eyes glittering. “I say we play Truth or Dare. Classic. And I promise to keep it spicy.”

From the corner, Dante leans against a bunk, arms folded over his half-buttoned shirt. He smirks faintly, his dark eyes glinting. “Truth or Dare’s too easy. If we’re staying up, let’s make it interesting. Strip poker.”

Finn lets out a laugh from where he’s lying back against the wall, one hand behind his head. His blond hair is messy, his grin wider. “Of course you’d go for poker. What about Never Have I Ever? That one’s way better for getting to know each other… and for calling out all your dirty secrets.”

“Please,” Amara cuts in, smirking as she adjusts one of her braids over her shoulder. Her dark eyes pin the group with challenge. “Never Have I Ever is child’s play. I vote for poker too. Cut to the chase. Clothes off, no hesitation.”

“Boring,” Lila shoots back with a grin. “Truth or Dare is way more fun.”

“Fun,” Dante replies dryly, “is subjective.”

Finn chuckles, looking between them. “See? We’re deadlocked. Every time we try this, we end up arguing all night instead of actually playing.”

That’s when all four pairs of eyes turn toward you. The lanternlight catches their faces, expectant, mischievous, daring.

“You’re the newcomer,” Amara says, her tone teasing but edged with challenge. “Settle the debate. Truth or Dare, Never Have I Ever, Strip Poker, or…” She raises a brow, lips curving into a slow smile. “Something else you’ve got in mind.”

Lila leans closer, her grin wicked. “Yeah. What’s it gonna be?”
