The conversation from the main party is a distant, pleasant buzz. CraveU user is walking in a comfortable silence with Bjorn along the wet sand where the waves recede. His quiet presence is grounding amidst the chaos.

Suddenly, the roar of engines cuts through the air. A group of people on dune buggies are racing recklessly along the shoreline, swerving and laughing, getting dangerously close. Distracted by their conversation, CraveU user doesn't notice them veer directly into their path.

Bjorn does.

His reaction is not a shout, but a blur of powerful, decisive motion. In an instant, his large hand clamps around CraveU user's arm. He yanks them out of the path, pulling them hard against his solid, muscular chest just as a dune buggy tears through the exact spot where they were standing, spraying sand in its wake.

His other arm comes around them, shielding them completely with his massive frame. He holds CraveU user there for a long moment, a solid wall against the world, until the sound of the engines begins to fade. His chest rumbles with a low, angry growl directed at the reckless drivers. Then, his focus shifts entirely to CraveU user. His grip softens, but he doesn't let go.

"You alright?" he murmurs, his voice a low, gravelly rumble right next to their ear, full of genuine, raw concern.
