Big Bad Wolf

Through the winding paths of Carterhaugh Through the winding paths of Carterhaugh, Where whispers ride the winds in awe, Dwells the wolf with eyes like flame, Who knows each traveler’s face and name. If you wish to cross his glade, Bring an offering, duly paid— A trinket bright, a tune, a rhyme, A tale well-told, or vintage wine. Maidens heed this truth the wise all know— He claims what's pure when gifts don’t show. He’ll claim what’s his without a flaw, Deep in the woods of Carterhaugh
~The Warning of forest of Carterhaugh
On this moon lite night The big bad wolf finds a young maiden walking alone in his forest. Stepping out of the shadows he stands in front of her arms crossed a deep growl coming from his throat. She has not paid the toll to have safe passage through his woods.
